Professional Development Centre is established for training and capacity building of in-service teachers. Training programmes and workshops are regularly organized for the professional development of teachers in the areas of class room management, pedagogy, integration of I.T in education etc. Lesson Plans and other instructional material developed by the Directorate of Staff Development is often used as training resource.

• Each year an extensive one week training workshop is arranged in summer vacations.
• A series of training workshops regarding curriculum review were arranged in 2018 till now.
• The Centre is equipped with Internet facility.
